hey alls, finally gotta chance to update something. so i got back from langkawi like 2 days ago. arrived safely in bangi on monday. but during our back home, we nearly got into an accident. we literally lucky enough to not crash into the dividers and surely lucky enough to still to be alive, alhamdulillah! our car turned 360 degrees in the middle of the high way and luckily, no cars or trucks were behind us. it was my first near death experience (if thats appropriate) i swear, i thought i was going to die on that day. but gladly im still happily alive, and from now on i decide to make some changes. im not quite sure yet how and if im strong enough to carry the changes im planning on to, but the accident really opened up my eyes to it. insyallah, HE will help and guide me through it
so, on to the main reason why i posted up this post. before the accident, langkawi was awesome! the beach was blue, the mounts were green as ever and the sands were soft with gold-ish colour. i know i sound silly, but im a beach freak. the islands and the private beaches there were picturesque :) so here's some of the pictures ive got

we arrived safely at jetty kuah around 2:00 pm and adrian cannot be any more excited that he's already is! :)

stopped for starbucks and lunch at mamak after the bad sea sick moments!

so we checked in to aseania hotel. quite famous here in langkawi for its longest swimming pool! and at 4:00 pm the first thing we did was jumped into the big pool! ok so, i may have joined in too *hehe (swam for 2 hours 30 minutes)

later on the night, around 8pm we went our for dinner and walk around abit through streets of pantai chenang.

wore something cozy and comfortable
DAY 2

the next morning, toast anyone?

arrived at pantai tengkorak that morning and found 2 boys performing silat

apparently, some school in langkawi was doing a marathon that morning. and pantai tengkorak was their last resort.

found some little dancers here!

HAHA. so while mama was doing some research, me and sibs were playing around the rocky area of pantai tengkorak. and also snapped some pictures too!

after pantai tengkorak, adrian went straight to the hotel's pool!
DAY 3

here is mama, auntie ayu and on the left is auntie ayu's mother :) this is at kulim geo park's jetty. we arrived here pretty early and i was still quite sleepy

adrian and lisa at the start of the boat ride

first stop, gua kelawar! interesting fact, there are 2 types of bats that lives in this cave. and the first type eats fruits and the other one eats insects. ALSO, bats changes feet every 5 minutes when it is hanging it selves on the cave :)

these are pokok bakau. they are used to make charcoals. these trees are well clever, they can separate salty water and the minerals to its own good. salty water goes up to the tree and sometimes it will form rocks of salts on the leaves. and the mineral water goes down to the roots

okay, these babies are plants that has lived here since the dinosaurs years! amazing right?

look how weird this rock has formed? its a bending rock. but actually, it has bended it selves like wise because it was bending to get some sun and one other causes were the water pressure and movements once upon a time ago when these caves were drowned with water.

got a snap of a crab! i also have some facts about crabs but its too long and too funny lol

can you spot that creature? well, i call it a fish with legs

while cruising through the river, we found a snake!

and we found more snakes!!

when we got into the big ocean, we were in the sea of jelly fihes!! suddenly i feel like sponge bob-ish? lol

here i am at pulau tikus! ive seen and heard about pulau tikus and finally got there. i was told the island's shape looks like a mouse (apparently) the island is basically 90% rocks, but it was beautiful!

this is also another reason why the island is named 'pulau tikus'. there is a rock that looks like a mouse! so there you go, pulau tikus :)

mama also took a snap! :)

pulau tikus was formed by fossils hundreds of years ago! and it is our responsibility to take care of these amazing and beautiful formation :)

mummy and i was on pulau cina mati! (the island's name sounded creepy)

and when we jumped on the island, we found alot of bottles! and this is an evidence, and it is from thailand

there's more! its horrible!

on the bright side, these rocks can only be found on pulau cina mati. these rocks takes 420 years to form! and no tourist are allowed to take any off this island. not even one, because its too rare

so... we found a knife. its kinda creepy now when i relate the knife to the island's name. you know, pulau CINA MATI thing? lol ;s

next stop, pantai pasir panjang :)

got a picture here too! hehe i love it here, and its a great spot to relex with the amazing scenery!

later, we went to our next destination. pulau dalai ( i think)

here, we get to snorkel!! and rashdan was the first person who got into the water -__-"

goggles on, underwater camera check! and im ready to snorkel! :D

AMAZING SCENE UNDERWATER! :')

*blub-blub

after snorkelling. heading back to jetty kulim

on our back, spotted: the rock on top of kulim geopark's signage is shaped like a turtle! subhanallah! :)

can you spot baby face? ;)
and that, i conclude my amazing days at langkawi. the 4th days' pictures are still in my dslr. will upload when im not lazy enough! :) since this is my 3rd visit of langkawi and been to a great tour around some of the langkawi's amazing islands, i think i could go for another trip there. but only to do some more of snorkeling! hihi :D
next trip - which is tomorrow, KUCHING, SARAWAK! here i come! :DDD
